Little Brag

Trials are definitely the goal...we'll see if we can keep progressing. I've had him out several times over the last few days and I honestly think the HT only impressed his handling abilities...it was probably better for him than any training session I could put together.

I did luck into about a dozen pigeons and a large cage for the pigeons, and I'll be picking them up this weekend...Rocky's going to have a fun couple of weeks of training!:D

Ghosts from the past!

Here is the infamous picture that Wayne is referring to. I took Macy on a quail hunt up in the panhandle, and she was absolutely wiped out after a full day of hunting in fairly warm temps. I suppose she deserved to be a little tired after finding just as many quail as any of the other 6 pointing dogs that were along for the trip! I took the picture with my phone, and apparently it has difficulty capturing shades of red...my sleeping bag is bright RED-- not pink! :D

I can only hope our first HT goes a quarter as well as this. I can tell ya I won't be diving into MH my first go around though. Thanks for sharing. Gives me some inspiration. :cheers:
