Hey Ya'll.
Just wanted to stop in and say hey. You guys were a great help to us last year planning our 1st trip to KS. Made for a great time and met some great people... so were headed back. Hit the week after opener last year.... good but lots of corn still standing. Going to heed the advice of people here. And hit it 1st week of Dec this year.Course we'll have to find someplace around Wakenney to watch our Boise St. Broncos finish off another undefeated season.:cheers:

you would be much happier staying in Hays (20 miles down I-70) much better food and lodging choices. WaKeeney has no decent restaurants.........
 
Enjoy the trip and our great state! Should be a pretty good season and hopefully it is good and cold for you by then....you may even get in on the first snow that week.

Not looking past OR st they re the beavers. BSU beat them in their house last time and OR last year. BSU is 56-0 on the Blue. And undefeated last 3 years. Be tough for OSU to win on the smurf turf. I guess they painted their practice field blue to get ready. So they don't get confused:confused:

Peterson loves Boise and Boise loves Peterson. Lots of SEC big dollar schools trying like heck to lure him away to spoil it for BSU. He won't budge.

Until BSU starts playing more ranked teams in the early season they belong right where they are .... playing for somewhere around the 3rd to 5th ranking (at best).

Hunting forums take detours .... BSU ain't no Devil just a bad-boy want-a-be. :eek: They would play .600 (tops) football in the SEC or running on Notre Dame's schedule.

You must be reading some lame football forums from 6 years ago. What's next the GA game 7 yrs ago.

The SEC has 2 teams left. You saw what OR (whom BSU totally dominated last year) did to the VOLS.

You have The waterboys AL and AR aardvarks left. FL is rebuilding. That's it.

So at most they could possibly lose is 2 games.

LSU would be good if the players and their fans didn't hate their coach so much. Really bad chemistry.

Saban is so scared of BSU he can't even say Boise he knows what happened last time he went west. He got waxed.

Nevada would prolly finish 2nd in the SEC. Give me a break.
 
Maverick, this is a good topic for discussion!!!! Start a thread in the Lounge section. I think it would be fun, if everyone can keep it civil and have a good time with it!!!! I don't want to change the topic of your Thread and posts!!

Maverik being a USU Aggie ( I know I know I suffer through football knowing BBall season is around the corner) transplanted to the midwest these boys are reluctant to give any one credit other than "The Good o'le Boys"......Most folks in OK get turrets when you mention BSU! They starr mubling something about defending a trick play:D

I hope you are taking advantage of the bounty that ID provides.. (Chuks, Huns, Sharpies) I sure miss them....
 
I am a SEC fan big time. My Hogs did well this past week but let Bama slip away. Props to the the O-line for Bama, they are big and very physical. I really hope that Boise gets a chance to play a good SEC team in a bowl that the SEC team cares about. If Boise gives that SEC team a game then we know for sure that Boise belongs if not then this argument goes away. None the less, if you look at the NFL and where the players come from that will tell you which conferences in college football are the best. After being at the biggest game of the season so far last weekend I'm really thinking that Arkansas may win out from here. I don't see anyone on their schedule that is better than they are. If so maybe we'll get to whip Boise in the BCS if they don't get a chance at the National Title.

Yea this is what they have said about The Utah Utes the last 2 BCS bowl games....Oh that is right Bama didn't really want to play the Utes instead they took a serious @ss whoopin from them......But they really didn't care right.... Convenient excuses.......... How many big games do they have to win before they get some credibility?

Riddle me this does the very pathetic Big east deserve a automatic bid? or the How about the slumping ACC? I will give you that the SEC and the Big 12 are the top conferences in all the land but to argue that BSU TCU and Utah can't hang with the boys is a ridiculous argument and show homer bias..:rolleyes:

ALL RIGHT how many days until the opener?
