Like the title says -

I'm in the market for any gauge, 12, 20, 28, 410 SKB model 385 or 485 sxs -- must come with original box unless the price is right. Prefer pistol grip stock - but could consider straight english stock.

I bought a Browning Gold Hunter 12 gauge new in 1998 or 99 and used it a lot -- now mainly use my SKB 385 - but I'm after a Gold Hunter 20 ga.

I've been looking and can't find any for sale -- I thought Browning sold a ton of those -- must be sitting idle in people's safes -- anyways if you have one to part with (I'm a stickler for it coming with original box) I'm a buyer.

Browning Silver Hunter is a bit newer - but open to one of those - especially the Micro Midas (smaller framed one) for my son.

I own a 20 ga Gold Hunter...still in service. Bought in 2002 and use it for sporting clays.

Let me know if you see any for sale (reasonable) --

Oddly enough I'm good at scouring the internet -- I've only found a couple and it's like they are wanting collector prices or the price of a brand new silver hunter.

I'm disappointed in myself I didnt add a couple to the collection years ago when there were plenty for sale.

Apparently the Gold Hunter is one of the lowest recoil guns ever made - gas operated and a bit on the heavy side at 8#...

I have one that shoots like a dream but yes try and carry it all day and it quickly becomes not your favorite upland gun

Please message me when you're ready to sell -- do you have the original box?
Do not have the orig. box. Working on the forend and butt stock; debating whether to buy new or go with what is - 23 yr. gun that has some miles on it.

Just curious, why is the original box so important?
I have a thing -- Shotguns I like I wont buy without the original box. Especially ones I believe will go up in value over time - but sounds like his might bit a little rough --- Been forever since I bought the gun book of values (multiple ones out there and can't remember which specific guide it was - but you'd see this in multiple guides if I recall) -- on a lot of collectable guns it was the guides opinion that made them worth a percentage more.

Or let's say a collectable rifle like a Win Pre-64 -- I can guarantee an original box in great shape would make the gun worth more to collectors and just in general.
