Does all public land in Iowa require steel shot or is it just land with marsh or waterfowl habitat?

No IA WMA I seen has had a steel shot requirement some mite but there special occurrence WMA

Look up the regulations on the IDNR website. It spells out areas requiring non-toxic shot. There are differences by county. For example, I've hunted on public lands a few times in Wright County and it states that non-toxic shot is required for all state and federal lands in the county. I assume that if I'm going on lands shown on the interactive atlas that I'm required to use non-toxic shot. Better safe than sorry.
