Youth hunting weekend

Well, Sept. 22,23 will be the youth weekend hunt for waterfowl and pheasant here in Montana, I hope quite a few kids get out there and experience the thrill of hunting! I will be with friends in Homestead, taking a couple of kids out and working the hounds. God willing we will get a little moisture between now and then, I would even take some of the white stuff...LOL. Looks like bird numbers might be worth kicking a bush or two.....good luck kids! Save some for us Ole Farts!

Awesome!!! Watching kids have a ball and the dogs working along with them was so cool. I was worried about my year and a half old LM but he worked pretty good. Didnt start hunting till about 10 Sat. morning , I was over in Homestead about 7:30 and saw tons of birds once I was a little west of Froid, then the numbers just increased...LOL. Easily three times the birds of last year, It is going to be a fun year in NE Montana!!!
