Youth brush pants?

Does anyone have any size 10 youth brush pants their kid has outgrown? I am taking my son out for the first time and hate to spend $30 on pants he will wear for the weekend and outgrow by next weekend. I thought about having my wife hem a pair of my old Filson chaps?

I know it doesn't help you now, but I have found some absolute steals in the Cabelas bargain cave before.

One example, I found camo bibs for my daughter for something like seven or eight dollars... I went ahead and bought every size from now until she hits adulthood. They're all just hanging in the closet, ready to be grown into... :laugh:
