WTB portable pitching mound

I'm looking for a portable pitching mound for my baseball team next spring. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but I prefer it be light and it MUST be set to the correct angle. I will travel to Topeka or Manhattan for it and could probably even set something up in KC this fall. I will be in Hutchinson for a soccer tournament in September, and I'll be traveling out to Larned, also in September. Thanks in advance!!

Oh, I'd build one, but I don't build anything well:eek:

Hey KB,
I coach high school baseball, we have 4 of them and yes, they do come in handy. Our high school shop class built two of them 15 years ago for us and my assistant built the other two a while back. He could probably build one for you, but my guess is you could buy one about as cheep. Check OnDeckSports. They have a nice little league portable mound for around $500Tell the parents it's for the kids and I'm sure you'd have some people pitching in to help out on the cost.

The shop class is a really good bet. I teach and coach and the shop class is always excited to get asked to help out!

Kansasgsp, where do you coach? Were you by chance at the KSHSAA Coaching Clinic this week? If so we were probably in some of the same sessions.
