Winger Cautionary Tale

Back in June I had set up two Zinger Wingers and was training the Wrecking Crew. About halfway through the session I was cocking one and engaged the turnbuckle on the bumper pouch to the trigger, but I did not notice the trigger hadn't engaged the sear. As soon as I let up, it fired with my hand & arm inside the frame. Suffice to say the injuries were impressive, to include my elbow dislocating so hard my armed bruised black down to the wrist. It took until mid-Sept for that arm to fully heal and even now my shoulder twinges now & then. The moral of the story is when training with Wingers, make double sure the trigger has engaged the sear before shoving the bumper pouch down...

Only accident I had with a winger in all the years I used them...
