Our group of 5 are going to be hunting Iowa this year, coming from Florida, Tennessee and Indiana having 5 dogs we are looking for any lodging places that also cater to bird dogs, no problem pay for a kennel fee. We wont know the exact area until the bird count comes out, but having a place to stay helps in your selecting your hunting area.

Years ago (when I hunted Iowa) we stayed at Carroll and Atlantic. During the 70's, this area seemed to have the best bird population.
The Wise Owl Motel in Atlantic; have since forgotten the name of the motel in Carroll.
The Iowa Pheasant survey is being conducted now - might be a good idea to study their report, then decide on accommodations.
