well, how was it? How was opening weekend around Dodge City?

So how was it? I heard the numbers were way up...I am heading down by Dodge this weekend for our annual hunting trip (been going there since 1996).

Just curious on how guys did and what they saw. The only bummer this weekend is the weather may be short sleeves by noon

"Way up" may be a bit of an overstatement, but like I'd posted before season, there are more young birds than last year. Yes, #'s are up but I wouldn't say way up. I hunted in a 40 mile radius of Dodge both North and South. I don't know what years past have been like in the area I hunted to the south, but I know things are better than last season in the area to the North.
