Wrapping up a trip in beautiful NE SD. Weather was better than expected. Did the best on the days that were spitting rain and windy. Did the worst on the most perfect day of the trip. Able to kill a limit on two of the days; with me and my Britt. All public land roosters. Spent a lot of miles on the boots and tires to find the right spots. Corn progress is good up here. Most will be out within the next week or so I would imagine. I was shocked at the amount of water still standing it fields compared to last year! All in all a good trip in pheasant country. Here’s a pic of my dog with one our roosters.
