Up and down these creek banks

Have a friend with pasture ground that had a always flowing creek. My dogs go up and down these banks like mntn goats. I have only witnessed one failed attempt and the dog just made a serious effort the second time. Banks are higher then they look in the photo-8'-10' in places.

No matter how hard I try to spell it conventionally, I always end up calling the water below the house a "crik."

And It's why I decided on the house 35 years ago, and why I still think it is where I belong.

Great little write up. Game farms don't have to make you feel dissatisfied but often do.
Walking along the creek and having a foot slide in a hole or ground going out from under you never gets old. Ducks,geese,turkeys pheasants,deer,varmints, all the little birds,and insect life make for a great little walk.
