Winter is a good time for a drought, lets just hope it doesn't stay that way.
 
True...as far as keeping the wheat covered. Hopefully they got some moisture on it this fall and it germinated, and we get spring moisture.

I was thinking of birds and a open winter.

agree, but a nice snow/melt cycle would be welcome too.....as long as it is not too extreme.....
 
If last fall and this winter are any indication of what this spring and summer will be like for moisture we could be in for an even longer hunting season next year.
