Did anyone hunt there last year?or any WIHA around there ,wondering if the quail hunting has rebounded any.Me and my 12 year old boy went to nw ,around norten area and didnt do that well last year. You can PM me with any information. Thanks in advance.

We stopped by Tuttle last year on our way back from a pheasant hunting trip and found some good numbers of quail in the WIHA areas. I'm not sure how they are doing so far this year, but hopefully someone in the area has a better idea. Good luck this year.

I hope for your sake they're doing better there than they are here. I live about 30 miles from Tuttle and the quail population took a big hit in our area. I haven't seen a single clutch this summer.......only heard them whistling in one spot fishing this spring/summer (usually hear a few at EVERY spot when fishing in the spring and early summer). I've yet to hunt upland game at Tuttle, but there were decent bird #'s at Milford last season. Hope for the best and deal with the rest!

There are a few quail in the public land around Tuttle, and I even run across the occasional rooster. I would never go there expecting a limit, but you should manage to find some birds if you are willing to work for them.
