turkey stuff

in my area of n. w. kansas i seemed to have lost my flock for the past month or so. at breakfast a few days ago i talked to two guys, one said there are no birds around the grain silo, really rare and another guy claims to have recently flown the river from bonney res. to benkelman along the s. fork of the republican and had a hard time seeing birds which usually are in the low thousands. anybody heard any nasty rumors. still got a week to go

I'm sure you were a LOT farther West, but my turkeys seem to be fine in the neighborhood at home, and also heard some hen turkeys at the farm when I stopped by there today.
