Hello all! I am an experienced retriever trainer but am looking into my first pointing breed. I am interested in you guy’s opinions on training programs out there online or even DVDs. I plan to train similarly to how I normally train a retriever but I am not experienced with “whoa” training and some other things that are specific to pointing dogs.
I have watched a lot of the standing stone YouTube videos and recently looked into the Upland institute. The Upland Institute is $425 and I have thousands in retriever training materials so not opposed to spending it if it’s truly worth it.
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.
