Hey all
I started hunting upland game when I was around 9 years old with my father and my uncle. At the time we had two great black labs there loved to hunt. The female was mine that we got when I was 8 I helped my dad train that dog everyday along with our male that we had already. As I got older the male dog had to be put down due too eye problems and old age. I hunted alone with my female named molly until I was 19 years old and then had to give that old girl some rest. She pasted away about two years after that. since then I have gotten married with two babys both girls who. They are two and 5 months. I found this forum cause I want to get another dog and start with the hunting thing again.

I will take all advice from anyone good or bad. I would love to hear peoples dos and donts about training a Labrador to point upland game.
