Thoughts on the 08-09 season after the flooding

Doesn't sound good

I just spoke to one of our landowners we hunt on last night,, we hunt the southeast section,, he said they didn't get the flooding,,, but had lots of rain ! He says he hasn't seen as many chicks as usual,, when he is out working,, so after the bad year last year and again this year AHHHH !!
Anyone know of any other good bird states ?
 
well i take sage out for a walk i see lots of birds and chicks but we didnt get as much rain as the other state.. so i think its going to be another great year... no labzman i cant
 
That sounds good,, sage !! We have always been told that there is good bird hunting in the northwest part of Iowa,,, but we have close to 20 years of knocking on doors and gaining permission and learning our way around those backroads !!! We hate to start all over again !! But might have to ???
 
labzman3 well if u get to my part u wont have have to knock on doors well maybe just one (mine). just let me know when u get up here i have some good privet land..
