A friend from Denver is thinking about the coming season. In his email he first invited me to trout fish with him in CO off his river raft later this summer. Looking forward to that! Then he wondered if he was invited again to the KS pheasant opener. At last year's opener I got compliments on him from two other regular hunting companions who had not met him before. Yes, I replied, he was invited to the opener. All told, we're a gang of five who enjoy cuttin' the dust with some bourbon after the guns are cased at the end of the day.
