Merry Christmas!

There is still some time before the Pheasant Season is over and there are still birds out there. The last few hunts have been typical late season roosters, but if you stay with them it seems like you can kill a few.
 
walked the lower madison 4 times the last 2 holiday weeks, never have killed a rooster there, but at this time of year, good bird hunting is at least 3 or so hours away. So i hate to plan the trip to be blizzarded out. I call it an armed walk, i did see Pheasant tracks in the snow, a few huns flushed, and a few ducks flying by.

So starting to plan 2013!
