Ive got a 45A Private land only doe permit so I sat Thursday afternoon. No deer but great sit nonetheless. Then Friday left for the river to give fishing a go with the weather so nice and incoming cold coming in. Fishing was decent, so we went again Saturday. It was a nice change of pace.20241121_160648.jpg20241121_162739.jpg20241122_163156.jpg20241122_160537.jpg20241122_170350.jpg20241123_114744.jpg20241122_191059.jpg20241123_132127.jpg

Envious of your walleye fishing up there. We catch a few here in Kansas during the summers, love catching & eating them. Was in Chamberlain a few weeks ago and seem some nice fishing boats coming through town. Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing. I too deer hunt, love sitting against a tree with a rifle laying in your lap!

Theres alot of bird flu in SD. Not sure how it's affecting the ringneck population, but its seriously affecting the white geese. Driving out to fish. We seen two dead geese on the interstate by Salem. They either were disposed of by someone on the road or fell out of the sky. We could see dead geese in the fields also. This goose followed us around for about 3 hours. Didn't appear sick, but certainly not normal goose activity.. fishing was poor on Friday, but good on Saturday..

Last year when we went out to our annual bird chasing trip we encountered 3 snow geese either dead or walking around stupidly like their brains were mush, wondering if we see the same thing this year. Nice fishing fella, I love it out there
