I have a friend in Tipton IA area and he has been seeing good bird numbers. Also IA is not in drought area. Not the best info for you but maybe this will get it rolling.
Eastern Iowa, where Tipton is located, has had plenty of rainfall. Other areas of the state, inlcuding the more traditional pheasant range here, have been much drier.
