"My Love Affair"
I've loved her for as long as I can remember, love at first sight you can say,
She comes every November and I always count down the day.
She arrives when it's warm and then leaves when it's cold,
A day with her is never wasted I was once told.
I spend most of my weekends with her, and sometimes a day during the week,
But spending more time with her is what I truly seek.
She always makes me happy, puts a big smile on my face,
My wife could care less for her, but knows that she'll always have her place.
When she gets around to leaving, my body's tired and my legs are sore,
But her stay always seems so short, she leaves me wanting more.
So the time has come now, just as it always does with out fail,
I raise my glass to you my love, and I bid you fare well.
