Sedgwick June 15

Decided to go scope out some new places to hunt in the fall, found ourselves in Sedgwick. Brought the pups along and let them romp around, they found some feathers and egg shells. Saw a hen and a rooster while driving around. The South Platte "River" was REALLY low, looks like it could possibly be dry in a few months ??? We heard a few roosters cackling as the sun was going down.

Blitz in the "River"

Only feathers and egg shells.

It was good to get the puppy out and let him have some different experiences and opportunities to explore in a different environment than what is close to our house - even finding a pile of feathers and egg shells is a learning experience.

One last thing, we did find a lot of ticks! We don't have any/many ticks around our place, so that was a learning experience for me!

Co Weim, be careful out in the public areas with running your dogs this time of year! Some in the CDWP have issues with this!!! If you know what I mean! By the way , your dogs are some of the best looking I have seen!!! My wife keeps asking who's dog's those are!!!! Very Beautiful dogs!!!

RE: CDWP - Thanks, I hadn't thought about that  I'm the last person who wants to get in trouble.

Thanks for the compliments on the pups. They're good boys. Dakota is a rescue, we had seen pictures of him on petfinder ... skinny, big head, callouses on his "elbows". He has really blossomed into a handsome companion. Blitz is our first puppy ... uff da. ;)
