Well Quail season has come to an end for the year. Strange year for shure, time to clean up the gear, and find out what to do with free time. Lets see yote blasting, bobcat calling, Javy hunting, Fishing or honey do list. Bet you can't guess which on has to be done 1st. LOL:D:cheers:

can't remember any post as to the quail pop. in ariz. and or what kind. drought problem? know ok. and tx had problems. used to hunt the san carlos and without a dog somedays we would see hundreds and hundreds mostly gambles. some days the flock would be so large that when they ran across the road, we would have to stop the truck. we have a great system in my house, she does all the work and i let her. whata deal!!

cheers

Yes drought problems, lack of winter rains last year. Birds didn't covey up in the early part of the season. This around the phx areas. I guess down in the south east part of AZ, the hunting was much better. San carlos and Globe areas, was better for Scalies this year, and so so for gambels.

Mustistuff you have a much better system at your house, than mine. LOL:D

I enjoyed seeing all the Quail by my Parents Winter Home on the desert by Apache Junction. Neat little critters.
