I see in the Mitchell Daily Republic dated Jan 27 there is a front page article about a English Springer Spanial (with pictures) named Sunrise Annie Belle owned by Joe Schweldop of Lane SD. Says she is a national champion. Good to see a SD dog doing well in field trials. :cheers:
 
Reread article--true but also says she won in NY in 2010--I know so little about trials its scary:)
 
Yea that was a regular trial, not a National. He got her from Gary Wilson in NY, Gary trains and runs Joe's dogs. Joe has a nice shooting preserve out there in SD. I believe she just placed in TX last week as well.
 
Joe's a real nice guy, still has a forign accent. He has a 5 star place out there too. Trained with him several times. The dog that won this year belongs to a guy from our club and a guy that used to, but moved to Bismark. Judy is now the 2nd MN bred dog to win it. The other was her mother.:thumbsup:
