A long ways to go but here is to hoping crops will start to be harvested for the opener. This is as of 8/4/14

Corn Silk 88% ahead of 72% Avg
Dough stage 20% ahead of 13% Avg

Soy Beans Blooming 89% ahead of 86% Avg
Soy Beans setting pods 51% ahead of 43 Avg

if the area doesn't get rain soon, i expect a lot of crops will go off early...seems a dry spell has set in for now.

i agree andy i like 2nd hatch birds and crops off a little late makes for good hunting all season...

Heres to hoping the stay in.. I do not get to come home till Thanksgiving.. I love when the crops stay in late....
