sage grouse

I;m packing to hunt sage grouse ;anyone else hunting them this week?
It will be wet and good weather for the dogs , i'll have 5 setters with me so if you see me, stop and say hi!

I'll be hitting it hard tomorrow morning.
The rain and cool temps will be nice for the dogs, but will make locating birds more of a challenge.

Will you be able to get there? I had heard I-70 and other roads up to the mountians have had numerous mud and rock slides.

I was going to head up and try blue grouse, however I think I will wait until next week (the forecast calls for much drier conditions).

Just be careful gents if you do go.

Lucky you!! I guess when it comes to pheasants though you have travel eastward
