Nice story and congratulations on the sage grouse.
Being a Pudelpointer owner (2 of them) myself, I have to ask where is your girlfriends Pudelpointer from?

Conobirds, she got him from a breeder in Alabama named Lone Pine Pudelpointers. Man, he's a fun dog. A spaz at this point, but I guess I was at that age as well.

Yea, being my first sage grouse and from what I heard about their flavor, I was terrified of that it was going to taste like. My girlfriend made a green chile stew out of it and it was amazing. I'm going to concentrate on them a little bit more next year for sure.
