He told me the world record was caught just a few miles from his house. 10 lbs something? He is a Bear guide and works for the logging industry, telling them where they can cut. So we fished lakes just cut in to. That was great.

Actually world record is 14 lbs 8 oz. Was caught in the Nipigon, 100 miles from Hymers

Ahh, coarse I was told this by a Canadian 27 years ago. I think he said it was 12 pounds give or take??

PS Rivers west is great. Got some and they wear great and live up to the name.
