Ready for Spring

Just checking in to see how the birds are doing in other parts of Iowa. Here in the SW the winter has been cold, but thankfully we have missed alot of the snow and ice that has plagued the rest of the state. I have been working the dogs around here and the pheasants are in pretty good condition. I get my pup in about 2.5 weeks and will be training on chukars. Hopefully spring will arrive at the same time.

we got about 2 ft of snow last week and lots of wind thought the birds would be hurting but i went out and saw more birds now then during hunting season... i would like to skip spring and summer and go right into fall.. my finger is getting ichy already lol ...
