Question for those of you in Montana

I am planning a trip out to Montana for a family vacation. Any recommendations on things to see and do? I am looking at a late summer trip to Yellowstone, of course and perhaps staying in the Big Sky area.

went to yellowstone last year and rented a house on the yellowstone river for a week. dont like staying in hotels full of screaming kids. this way we could cook our own meals and pack lunches so we didnt have to buy over priced hotdog. went trout fishing. go to the web site VRBO.com houses available in many locations and price ranges. have done this several times now makes vaation more relaxing.

Flush Em, Late Summers is a good plan for visiting Yellow Stone. July is not recommended. [traffic jams and lodging problems].

Take the Bear tooth highway into YS. So much to see, do the figure 8 loop. Grand Teton is right there and a must see.

West Yellowstone has plenty of good lodging and so does Gardner. Mammoth Hot Springs is also a good place to Stay, good food to. Old Faithful Lodge and dining to. Yellowstone takes a few days so enjoy!
