Well , coming off of 2 great seasons to be following a pointing dog, this past season was quite frustrating to say the least. We just didn't have the birds in the rolling plains where I hunt. I went out one time(January) just to run dogs... I left the shotgun in the truck. It felt good to get out an stretch our legs a little but it sure was depressing to see that our birds had vanished..
I am blessed to be able to go out of state multiple times-of course back to Kansas and I did a first time to south dakota.
I'm sharing our annual report that has alot of info in what actually happened this year.
It has a ton of info pertaining to quail management that some of you quail folks might enjoy reading during this off season.
