Heres my story I have a yellow lab thats a great dog but shes old and can't get around very good. I thought maybe she would be good for another season but I was wrong. Now I was thinking about getting a pointer, maybe that free one on the forum. But my question is the lab going to mess up the pointer at all. The dogs would be together on the same farm with a st, bernard also. Do you guys think it will work out. Need some advice, Thanks:cheers:

Sawking, one of our outfitters, Prairie Sands Hunting, runs pointers and labs all the time in the same field. They use the pointers basically to freeze the birds in the cover and send the labs in to flush. Quite the team work!

Make darn sure that the Pointer is completly finished and seasoned before you put it with a flusher.
