Gentleman:
I just want to throw out the thread that I am looking for another dog. My current bud is an 11 year old Irish Setter and I think it will be his last year hunting, strong heart, bad hips. I do like setters and pointers, especaily as I get older, but will look at other breeds. I personally do not mind paying for a dog but I live in a big "Rescue" house. So if any one knows of a hunting dog, "owner" relinguish, that maybe available keep me in mind. I will pay for training and dog stuff to make it a viable transfer. Thanks, good hunting and see you in the field.
