I have a couple 1100s and an 11-87 in the vault. I was not aware they had new style...had to google it to see what the change was. All mine are the original (early) ones. Any benefits to switching to the new style?? other than maybe putting them in wrong.

Mine isn’t cycling great, I took it apart and cleaned.
and the piston seal assembly on mine is looking a little rough. I saw a video about the new part. It Was made by Remington so I assume it’s an upgrade. I thought I’d order one in advance

The one piece units are hard to find. I went to the shotguns and more shotguns forum and put a WTB ad in the Remington section.

Not likely as there Frame is good for 250,000 rounds.
Just FYI I have a early 11-87 I shoot trap with that’s over 30 years old and 50,000 rounds through it and it has never had a part break. I do clean it every time I shoot it.
