hi are there any decent public hunting areas in s.w. idaho? i don't know any farmers or anyone. i hopefully will make it there this season.i am coming from reno. thanks .

Like said before. If pheasants is your primary game bird, then another state would be advised. Most pheasant hunting in this state is done on private ground. The state offers the chance to purchase a special license which allows you to hunt planted birds. There are about six locations thru out the state where this is done. My experience with it is there are too many hunters within a small location. The exact opposite experience I am looking for when hunting. Good luck with your hunting this year.
