Had an opportunity today to meet a great group of kids on the leadership council. They are having there meeting here in Michigan and today I assisted with a field tour to discuss Kirtlands Warbler management as well as grouse and woodcock management. This was my first exposure to this group and for the brief time I was able to spend with them was very impressed. Being a part of this meeting and talking about forest management with these fine young people will be one of my highlights for the year.
