Our 28th or so annual meeting is tonight. I went to the first one and many more. I won a really nice print one year and bought a big neon rooster sign last year. My wife was in Europe and said that she would have opposed my bidding on the sign had she been there.
One year I drank a few too many beers and my wife had to write the check on the way out the door. She didn't say a word, but the next day a big truck showed up with 2 blue spruce trees. I asked what was going on and she replied "We are even." I have no idea as to what I bought that year but we have 2 big beautiful trees still.
One year I bought a case of WW PF marked #6 shot and still have a few boxes left. I have not seen any of that the last few years, but would bid on some if it were to show up. I don't buy many raffle chances as I have about everything I want or need.
