On my way to Duluth to pick up a new pup. Just west of Hinkly I saw a field with 5 roosters. Who knew.

Just mess n I've seen em off 35 from rock creek to damn near Hinckley Mora seen a few there around...

What kind of pup did u pick up???

I remember 2 years ago seeing about 15, mix of roosters and hens in the median grass that separates North & Southbound 35 between rock creek and hinckley. The median couldn't have been more than 10 yards wide.

There are pheasants out there in those counties. We hear them in the spring. While most are likely wild, some may be released ...

There was a pheasant hunting preserve near Rock Creek (closed last year) and another north of Pine City and right on I-35. Suppose some are coming from these locales too.
