Went out to eastern CO to try and get my sister and brother-in-law their first pheasants. What a challenge! We had a blast and put some serious miles down out there chasing the thinning population. They're from California so the deal was, they come out here to pheasant hunt over Thanksgiving, I head out there to quail hunt over Christmas. Anyone ever hunt for quail out in Imperial Valley, CA? Super excited to try out something new!
