What do you all make of this:

I was scanning through the PGC Maps and was looking around my area ( south central ) and was looking at some of the " No Restrictions Areas" with the solid orangey yellow circle, I think I know what that means even
if its private property ( you can hunt there buy it might be a good idea to ask the land owner first, correct me if I'm wrong ) but I saw some of the circles in the middle of suburb neighborhoods in the north side of Shrewsbury Pa to be
exact. I'm confused, help me out on this.

I don't know much about the map itself but you need land owner permission to hunt the land. Written permission is best incase you are approached by a WCO while hunting.

Look for safety zone signs or hunter access signs in the area you are looking for. I'm not sure how updated the maps are so some things could have changed since the markings were put on the map.

thanks for the input

You need permission to hunt those lands. The map is very accurate..it's just not updated all the time. Just because someone opens their land to hunting doesn't mean it's a great place to hunt. Some farms that are open to hunting may be in rural areas, a few can be in more a suburban areas. Before you were to hunt an area I would go there and see it in person and speak to the land owner. Have you looked at any game lands in the area?

Thanks for the reply, yes I do hunt SGL's in my area. I thought it was strange with one of the dots/circles in the middle of a neighborhood.
