Perry Suspenders

Anyone have any exp with the Perry suspenders that attach directly to your belt? I think I want a pair.

So, you would wear a belt and suspenders?

Preferring galluses while birdhunting for many decades, the reasoning of accompanying them with a belt eludes me.
The absence helps to prevent the lure of packing the belt full of holsters and geejaws, as well as adding to the comfort.
But, good luck with 'em.

I wear a belt to hold my knife. etc. I don't like to tighten my belt so tight that it is painful. Therefore, suspenders.

Makes sense....I must admit that I carry a belt in the dog box in case of a blowout.
Been meaning to get some bachelor buttons but simply have not done it yet...they will take up less space than the belt.

Shouldn't you carry an extra pair of underwear in case of a blowout?

I don't have Perry suspenders, but I do wear a belt and suspenders. Mostly because it feels weird not wearing a belt. The suspenders are a must when you are busting your butt and high stepping through thick cover. When I get sweaty, my pants want to fall off without suspenders.

Uncle Jim told me to be suspicious of a man that wore suspenders AND a belt at the same time.

If a man doesn't trust one or the other can you really trust him? :)
