Outdoor time-Dog kennels and runs???

The "hose dog, Field dog..." poll got me thinking.
I will be getting my first gun dog in June :)so I'm looking for some advice.
I live on a small farm and have always had farm dogs that had the run of the farm. My hunting dog will, obviously, have to be treated a little differently. Our dogs have been indoor/outdoor dogs, some liking indoors better than others. Our plan is to have the dog indoors at night, but I think outdoor time beyond training sessions is probably a good thing (weather dependent of course.)
I'd like to know how some of you guys handle the dog housing situation, do you have a kennel? a run? fenced yard? how are they constructed. What would be your ideal kennel/run/yard?
Share some pictures

My dogs have acess to the garage for shelter and shade. I live in the country and have an underground fence so they have free range of the place expect were I have wired off. The system has worked great for me.

Did you have any trouble training the dogs to the underground fence?
I did consider a wireless fence- a radio signal giving a 180' diameter "yard" but I'm not sure how well they work. I guess I'm so used to my dogs having run of the farm, anything else will seem restrictive. It shouldn't be bad for the new pup, but I'll probably have to keep the farm dog within the same confines.

No they caught on pretty quick. The manufacture outlines a training regiment, I did not use it but people have told me it works. I think my system allows up to 100 acres to be "fenced" or something silly like that. It seems like even though mine have all kinds of space to run all they do is lay around in the garage anyway.

We have Indoor/Outdoor dogs. Mine are FBECS, both males. Field Cockers are mischevious little devils. I would no more leave those two loose in the house unattended for 12 hours than a pair of Russian boars.

I have a pair of 18x6 ft runs with all-weather insulated dog houses right by the garage where the dogs stay when we are away from home for the day. I think every hunting dog needs an outdoor place to stay at times.
