If you have seen my posts and read of the struggles with food plots this past spring, here is a plot on our "home" farm. Not nearly the bird numbers here. This was only planted once and had a late application of 2-4D, no drops. The corn was higher that I could raise the booms. It made a decent crop, there could be (should have been) some crop damage, but this looks pretty acceptable. I had a 6 row planter with 4 rows of grain sorghum and 2 rows of corn, this plot is wide enough for 3 passes. Those trees on either side are walnut trees my father planted as a youngster about 75 years ago, so they get to stay....not really pheasant friendly.
