Opening Day

I called my friend and farmer in SD last evening and he reported on a very good opening day. Nineteen family members were gathered at the home place and they saw lots of birds.
 
I took my father out to the tower for early muzzleloader deer season, he uses a landowner tag. When I walked out , I had a big flush of them when I got back to the truck. There will be some birds around, water or no water. No water on any of our 3 farms with creeks passing through them. Looks like I will be packing some dog water when out in the quarter.
