Didn't get to go out on Saturday for the actual opener. We headed out early for a day hunt on Sunday. Seen plenty of birds on mostly private land we had access to. It was extremely warm out and made for some tough conditions. My 1 year old Britt locked up a sweet point on his first wild quail in corn stubble. Made for a perfect and easy shot. It was awesome and I was very proud. Can't wait for the temp to drop and get back out there!! Cheers and good luck this year!:cheers:

:coolpics: New here have been reading for a few days and decided to register today. Scoelki good shoot bud. We did hunt Saturday morning and saw tons of birds. Ended the day about lunch time with 10 nice roosters. Hunting in South Central NE all public ground. I will have to post some pictures tomorrow.
