Hello. From Ontario, Canada. Any other Canadians on here? I am trying to improve my land for pheasants and have been reading some of the threads on habitat building and plot set up on this forum, some great info. all though I live in a different climate I still can use some of the info. Pheasants in my area are way way way down. Much like every were else loss of hedge rows and all pheasant related grounds is key factor in their low numbers. our MNR doesn't help but that might be a topic for another thread;)
Anyway I look forward to learn more and more as I read through your posts.

Good day

Welcome to UPH, glad to have you on the boards. Yes there are a few members from Canada on this sight. Pull up a chair and join right in.

Welcome. Another Canadian here -Nova Scotia. Often lots of great habitat info on this site, so dig around and stay tuned. Only thing I've done here is to plant sunflowers here and there. Otherwise, we're in pretty good shape in this province, because farms are generally fairly small and diverse with decent patches of natural roost/loafing cover. Although I confess not to know much about the subject. Enjoy!

Welcome to the site CMC! We look forward to hearing about your progress with improving habitat to benefit pheasants. There's plenty of experienced habitat guys on this forum who can give you very good advice.

Good luck and enjoy the site;)
