Still a few weeks away from the regular upland season and I don't know if i can take the extra wait. So, I think tomorrow I'll go back out with Bob and my older pointer to see what kind of trouble we can get into. Headed back to where I started the season at.

Hope the cattle are gone as I hate having a walking "audience" following me.

I know what you mean duckn66...the anticipation is killing me..i knew i wouldnt see jack squat but yesterday the itch was getting to me so i went out and sat in the field for 4 hours yesterday to partake in a dove hunt..i did manage to get a couple but i just had to get out and into the field.

I'll be sure to post some up. May not be of anything but a white dog in a field but by gosh at least we will be out there! I have one other area that I found during regular season late last year I thought may hold some chickens if the grass isn't too tall. Haven't been there yet this year so I may run up there after the first place. I know a guy who used to live up that way and he said when he was much younger (he's got to be 80 now) they used to flush chickens out of fence rows like crazy. Said he ate a bunch of them as a kid and never did learn to like them. LOL Said they used to be all over the place up there back in the day.

Luckily with all this rain the place(s) I plan on going are all on good roads unlike Saturdays mess. I couldn't get down a bunch of roads after the rains. Spend $6.50 on my truck washing it and barely touched it.
