Eight of us did pretty well over the last three days. We hunted in Decatur and Norton counties. We shot 42 pheasants and 39 quail. The quail numbers were really up compared to the last 13 years I’ve hunted the same area. We lost a few pheasant since we didn’t have a good dog. We were hunting private land.
